Frequently asked questions

How do I set a wallpaper?

Open Silly Smile, tap a wallpaper you like, then tap Apply / Save. For live wallpapers, save the image or video to Photos when prompted, then set it from Settings → Wallpaper on your iPhone.

Why do I see ads?

Silly Smile is free and supported by ads. On first launch we ask for your tracking choice (ATT); declining still lets you use the app with non-personalized ads.

How do I manage tracking / personalized ads?

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone, or our in-app Settings, to change your choice anytime.

How do I save a wallpaper to Photos?

The app will ask for permission to add to Photos the first time you save. You can manage this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
