Terms of Service — Lingua
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between you and CÔNG TY TNHH EXO TECHNOLOGY GLOBAL ("EXO," "we," "us," or "our"), enterprise code 0110790544, at Nhà vườn số 04 Khu thấp tầng Licogi 13, Số 164 Đường Khuất Duy Tiến, Phường Thanh Xuân, Thành phố Hà Nội, Việt Nam. Contact: hello@exo.ltd.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By downloading, installing, or using Lingua, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Lingua is intended for users aged 18 and over.
2. Educational purpose
Lingua provides self-guided English practice. It does not provide accredited instruction, certification, guaranteed learning results, professional advice, or emergency services. Results depend on your circumstances and practice.
3. License
EXO grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Lingua for personal, non-commercial learning on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable Google Play rules. No ownership right is transferred.
4. Acceptable use
You may not sell, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, modify, exploit, automate, introduce malicious code, interfere with the app, manipulate progress or rewards, or attempt unauthorized access, except where a restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Progress, XP, availability, and advertising
XP, levels, streaks, lesson completion, and other progress indicators are motivational features. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and create no ownership rights. Local progress may be lost if you reset the app, clear its storage, uninstall it, replace a device, or experience software or storage failure.
Lessons work offline. Lingua has no account or cloud sync and offers no paid products or subscriptions. We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app subject to applicable law.
Lingua is free and supported by advertising. When your device is online, the app shows ads served by Google AdMob and uses analytics, crash-reporting, remote-configuration, and advertising-measurement services from Google (Firebase), Yandex (AppMetrica), Meta, and TikTok, as described in our Privacy Policy. Ads are provided by third parties; EXO does not endorse advertised products and is not responsible for third-party websites or offers you open from an ad. You may manage ad consent from the app's privacy options where available and personalized ads from your Android settings.
6. Intellectual property
Lingua's code, design, text, lessons, graphics, trademarks, and related content are owned by EXO or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lingua is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted, error-free, or universally compatible operation. EXO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, learning progress, or profits. EXO's aggregate liability relating to Lingua will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the preceding 12 months or USD 100. Rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Termination
You may stop using Lingua by uninstalling it. Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits, will survive.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Việt Nam, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction in Hà Nội, Việt Nam have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
10. Google Play
If you obtained Lingua through Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable Google Play policies. Google is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Lingua. EXO remains responsible for the app, its content, support, and claims relating to it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. We will revise the date above and provide any notice required by law. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
